Once the dog passes through, the electronic dog door will close automatically. Some electronic dog doors work slightly differently. Instead of opening automatically, these electronic dog doors release the lock on the door so that the dogs can push through. Electronic dog doors are very useful in preventing unwanted pets from entering the house.

Dog training maybe necessary to get your dog familiar with going through dog doors. Dog treats and Dog toys can be used to entice and reward your dog to encourage him to use the installed dog door. Once installed, the dog door should be used at all the times so that your dog would get used to it.
